Teenagers: How much allowance do you receive from your parents?
And to parents of teenagers: How much do you give your teenagers?
I don't get allowance as my mum just gave me money here and there when I needed something desperately, but she's gonna start giving me some, and I was wondering how much you got.
Please give details like if they pay for anything for you, what do they pay for, and what they give you money for.
Thanks :)Teenagers: How much allowance do you receive from your parents?
I get like.. 拢10 a week.
I buy all my own clothes, bus tickets, cinema tickets, food when I'm out.
So.. yeah.Teenagers: How much allowance do you receive from your parents?
From a parent: When my kids were allowance age I would make a list of chores that they could choose from. Each chore had an amount attached to it from $0.50 to $1.50 - they could choose what chore and how many chores they wanted to do each week and that way they could choose how much money they wanted to earn per week. The only rule was that they had to show me when they had completed the chore so that I could keep a total and every Friday I would pay them.
Some chores changed per season (rake, shovel etc...) but some stayed the same (dishes, trash, laundry).
Also - If I saw them doing something extra throughout the week (helping someone with groceries at the store, holding doors, etc...) I would occassionally add some extra and tell them the extra was for the good deeds I noticed they had done. I did not do that every week even though they usually did something nice for another person every week because I wanted to keep it random.
The jobs and the money all go got the staff. I do get a allowance for just being alive I geuss. I believe that kids should do their chores themselves and not get paid because that is just something that has to be done. Who's going I pay them when they get older for cleaning the house? I'm waiting OH no one ino.
i don't get any.
i got a paper round so i could pay for stuff.
things my mum %26amp; dad do pay for are if my friends have a party and you have to pay for yourself they give me the money, or of if i'm skint and my sisters birthday is coming up etc.
i dont get one. i never have actually, i just had to ask for money and she usually gave it to me when she could or thought i needed it
$8 a week- we go by the grade we're in
My chores:
- keeping my room clean
- making my bed
- setting the table
- doing some dishes
- sometimes taking out the garbage
- staying home with my sister when my parents go out (if I stay with her and entertain her the whole time I get $5 extra).
I get 拢30 a month from my Parents and they pay for everything because I'm 14 and they know I need money also i spend it wisely
Geez! Why am i getting thumbs down for the truth!
No allowance for daily chores because that's all in being a part of the family. If my brother and I wanted money, we did extra things to earn some cash like mowing the lawn [we have 14 acres].
None =(
i get it once a year.. just before xmas we get $300 which is meant to be a dollar a day and we get it then so we dont spend it on little things but bigger things like pressies and things that wont go as quickly
拢5 a week for doing jobs around the house i.e the dishwasher, i also get money if i'm going out- if i don't have any myself!
:)
are you seriouss.
my parents are wayy to cheap to be handing out allowance to me and my 3 other brothers and sisters.
we do chores for no cost.
Enough or too much as far as parents are concerned.
But never enough as far as teenagers are concerned.
Take care and best wishes always

Why is it that pimple face teenagers get on the internet just to bash people?
I was just wondering...some people are on here for fun and some take it seriously and some are just down right rude and obnoxious. Why is it that pimple face teenagers get on the internet just to bash people?
They're probably too frustrated because girls won't talk to them. Or maybe it's because they're immature.

How will eating out occassionally affect teenagers?
Hi! My cuz has a bad habit ..he eats out everyday and he has pimples all over his face . HE looks terrible . Is this he reason for why he usually eats out? Please provide me some answer on how will it affect him!! Thanks so much! How will eating out occassionally affect teenagers?
YUCK!!!! Tell him only to eat out girls that take proper care of themselves. The girl being eaten out will ligthen up, so I say this would be a positive effect. Obviously as seen, he is gaining acne - could actually be an std - so it's negative for the kid who doesn't bother to have high standards when eating out....
Quick lesson on acne (to educate anyone that doesn’t know):
The skin is covered with tiny holes called pores. The pores have what are called ‘sebaceous glands,’ which make sebum (oil to moisten your hair and skin). If you’re lucky (unlike us), the glands produce the correct amount of sebum and no acne occurs. If you’re not lucky, the pores get clogged with excess sebum, dead skin cells, and bacteria.
Whitehead – a pore that gets clogged, closes, and bulges out from the skin
Blackhead – a pore that gets clogged and stays open (top surface darkens)
Pimple – a pore with broken walls, leading to a buildup under the skin
Hormones stimulate the sebaceous glands to make sebum. Acne is caused by the glands being overactive. Acne is not caused by the greasy foods you eat, chocolate, soda, or any of those other fun stories we hear about (unless you’re smothering these products into your pores!!)
What I learned:
Do not scrub the affected areas. This can make it worse by irritating the skin.
Use your hands instead of a wash cloth.
If you do find a moisturizer to use (or even with sunscreen), be sure to use oil-free products.
If you have long hair keep it away from the affected areas and wash it regularly (limits the amount of oil).
When you are stressed, your pores may make more sebum, so yes avoid negative stress.
When finished (or during) exercising or excessive sweating (gotta love _ _ _ ), wash the affected areas.
Try not to touch these areas (I also put sanitizer on my hands before messing with the fun of acne, which leads me to my next point – DO NOT PICK, SQUEEZE, or POP your acne.
Two ingredients to look for in products used to destroy this monster: benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. The first one kills the bacteria that leads to acne and can reduce swelling. The latter causes skin to dry out and peel (which also helps rid you of acne). And again, we come to another point – DO NOT OVERUSE your acne products (follow directions exactly). If you use too much, your skin can become very red and very dry. Always, try a little before putting it all over yourself to check for any potential allergic reactions.
In researching acne, you may want to search for “acne vulgaris.”
Try a dermatologist – they can prescribe stronger medications than what you can get at the store.
Good luck!! Hope I helped a littleHow will eating out occassionally affect teenagers?
Yeah... so that above answer.... yeah.... haha, I'm not sure how that answer got into diet and fitness.
But, yes.... if you are eating too many fats, greases, and salts, that can contribute to acne. I know there are people who say that this is an old wive's tale.... but I know from personal experience, that it will add to your pimple-age.
Its not that he's eating out, it is what he is choosing to eat. If he consistently eats fries, burgers, and pizza, that may be part of the problem.
Also, if he is eating greasy food without washing his hands, odds are that he is accidentally spreading the grease onto his face through the course of the day. Get him to wash his hands as much as possible, and avoid touching his face.
A good home remedy for acne, if you haven't already tried it, it toothpaste. Put it on the problem areas as you sleep and it will clear up most things in about a week. And it smells good! Just watch, because it can dry out your skin.
However, sometimes people have skin infections and genetics that contribute to their acne.
If his skin is really bad, and it isn't clearing up no matter how much he washes or watches his diet, have him talk to his doctor. They can proscribe low dose antibiotics that will clear you up in bad cases. This may even be covered by insurance, since it could be treated as an infection. Don't quote me on that though.
OMg. that person who answered first is extremely disterbed -_______--
Ok i believe that eating out does not affect how many pimples you have.. it's a combination of genetics, skin type, how often you wash it, and your environment..
so the only way to clear it up, is just treat it using various methods.. try somethin with salicylic acid in it.. if it doesnt work at all.. (it doesnt work on me) try something with benzythonium chloride in it.. (I know avon has some.. walmart doesnt cary ANY)
It makes my face feel fresh and clean!
I also hear that proactive works really well too. havent tried it though.
Also i read that to get rid of the redness in pimples.. to put visine (the stuff for red eyes) in it.. and it helps get the redness out!
Good luck!
HAHA the person who answered first on here has an interesting mind..and got the wrong idea of the question..
Anyways...
Eating greasy things is bad, as someone already stated.
and YES proactiv does work. I've been using it for 1 year, and I rarely break out.

What is up with all these teenagers and women using the morning after pill?
why not use condoms and be on birth control at the same time.
Where i am from and how i was brought up was to deal with what you have done. So why go with the morning after pill? If you are not old enough or have the sense enough to raise a baby then why have sex
