Do teenagers have to much power in America?

I mean over parents and the government.Do teenagers have to much power in America?
In some ways, too little power. Their cultural norms (and, for that matter, the norms of twentysomethings!) are not adequately respected by the older generations. While parents have the duty to apply wisdom, they need to distinguish between parenting and simple disagreement with teens' tastes and interests.Do teenagers have to much power in America?
Too much? I do hope you're joking. Perhaps over their parents, but not over government. I mean, teenagers can't do anything without the assistance of their parents. They can't get IDs, passports, bank accounts, etc. Teenagers aren't given enough power over their lives, and that's why so many of them are overwhelmed when they reach adulthood and its sudden wave of responsibility after years of enforced irresponsibility and impotence. I think that teens should be held accountable for their decisions and should be given greater freedom to make decisions regarding their lives. How can you expect someone with no decision-making experience to suddenly transform into a responsible, informed adult at 18? It's ridiculous.
we have noooo power, only the media has power over government, and parents only let you have power, you can't take it on your own
No, but i believe that even a person is just a teenager they could do alot of stuff to change the world into a diffferent place.
no, they don't even understand power.. if they did and had the ability of power they could control things with much more efficency.
