How to get teenagers intrested in charties?

How to get teenagers intrested in charties and involved?? ANy ideas on how to do this?? Wha kind of reasources could be made to help??How to get teenagers intrested in charties?
I found that dragging my kids to the charities I was involved in, (Making wooden toys for the poor or stocking at the local food bank) made them really understand how fun it could be.

After the first day, they really enjoyed interacting with other volunteers. They were happy to go and it actually made them see how well they were living compared to others, and they were thankful for all that they DID have instead of focusing on what material things that they DIDN'T have. How to get teenagers intrested in charties?
The best way to get teenagers involved would be to explain to them how much helping charities can help them. Explain how good it will look on their Cv if they volunteer at a charity shop.

Once you have got them working at the shops or donating things you can then explain the real reason for why they should be helping - which of course is to help people or whatever the charity aims to help. Hopefully they will learn to understand how good it is to help and so will help more in charity events.
Take the teenagers to NGOs working for poor, downtrodden, neglected masses and show them how the sisters are trying to make them happy. Let them work with those for a weekend. Repeat the action. Slowly they will love to help others.
A lot of good answers have been given here. One website that may give you some ideas ==
