There are plenty of things for you guys to do. A trip to Fanuel Hall Market is always a good place to start. It's located in the north end where you'll find great shopping and great food. You could make your way to the Boston Common park where there's always things to do such as the Swan Boats. If shopping is your thing you could try Newbury Street as well as Copley Square. You can try making a reservation on the Boston Duck Tours. They give you a great tour of different tourist spots in the city and tickets aren't that expensive either. What is really fun for three teenagers to do in boston?
Try to catch a show by The Blue Men Group. They are always playing out there.
A Sox game at Fenway is definately the way to go. Awesome atmosphere. Don't be afraid to get bleacher seats if you can.

Good luck getting tix.
Depending on the ages and interests of the teens, I would recommend a Boston Red Sox game, the Freedom Trail, a Duck-Boat tour, whale watching, the Aquarium or the Science Museum. There are some great malls and you might still be able to go to the top of the John Hancock building for the view.
