Gosh, I don't think most teenagers think about immortality like more mature and older people do....they think they will live forever and do not have anything in the well-of-experience to draw from. Their conclusions are typically from point a to point z with not much in between. Someone else mentioned the teens on Answers...I have to agree and point out all the dozens of questions from sexually active teens that ask 'do you think I could be pregnant';?
The rate at which teenage girls in the United States are having babies has risen for a second year in a row, government statistics show, putting one of the nation's most successful social and public health campaigns in jeopardy.
Teen Drivers: Fact Sheet
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens, accounting for more than one in three deaths in this age group.1 In 2005, twelve teens ages 16 to 19 died every day from motor vehicle injuries.Do teenagers think about death and the choices that they make could kill or hurt them or others?
Yes they do. Just read the questions on this website and you will see that this is a common problem. The teen years are the hardest of all to deal with, and other teens can often be cruel. I suspect that hormones play a big part of this. Most outgrow this, but some don't and need professional help.Do teenagers think about death and the choices that they make could kill or hurt them or others?
Yes they do, they believe that there are other people who need them but at the same time they don't see a way out of their sadness. They feel that no matter what they do they will always feel that way. If you have a friend that is thinking about suicide you need to get them to talk to a psychologist and help them see that there are options.
I am a teenager and I would have to say yes, I think about death...but I also get depressed sometimes so that could be why. When you are taking drugs or alcohol and stuff then yeah you do think what if i die but mostly you just blot that out because you just wanna have FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Teenager's brains are immature. Their brains are literally not done growing or developing yet when they're in their teen years, which often is the reason for ';in the moment'; thinking that teens frequently exhibit.
Probably. The extent to which they think about these things varies from person to person.
